Jaru’s Journey: One of the most anticipated mobile games of 2021

The much-talked-about ‘Jaru’s Journey’ mobile game is the story of five heroes on a journey to save their land. Set to be released before the end of the year, it’s already a hot topic among fans, many of whom have expressed that they can’t wait to charge through the beautiful visuals.

The game’s plot sees Jaru, a young hunter who sets off on a quest to restore balance to the land by defeating the evil Council of Elders and bringing the magical Huturu guardian back to her tribe. On her quest, the titular heroine will have to recruit allies in a bid to save their villages, and restore peace and harmony. Feisty warriors, powerful wizards, evil spirits, and incredibly inventive landscapes – this one has it all.

“Developed by Abuja, Nigeria-based Griot Studios and Amateur Heads Productions, the story draws inspiration from different indigenous cultures. It is also noteworthy that the game features a strong female lead, a fact that has generated a lot of positive buzz online.”

Ummi A. Yakubu, Lead Game Designer and Creative Director of Griot Studios expressed excitement, and said: “We’ve managed to weave together a familiar but entertaining story with engaging gameplay.”
